National Poetry Day 2018

University Bookshop Canterbury - Thursday, October 18, 2018

To celebrate National Poetry Day this year, we ran a poetry workshop with the fabulous Kerrin P. Sharpe.

A group of 10 enthusiastic poets attended our lunchtime session, and after working through a range of writing exercises they each produced a piece of original poetry.

The feedback we had was fantastic, and we are extremely pleased to be able to publish the poems that they penned for you all to enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who not only attended the workshop, but helped make it possible. To Phantom Billstickers, the NZ Book Awards Trust, Harley, and Kerrin - we truly couldn't have done it without you.
